Kari Wilkerson, O.D. is a graduate of Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she also achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a minor in Spanish. Dr. Wilkerson trained at the NSUOCO Clinic as well as multiple rural Cherokee Nation clinics across Northeastern Oklahoma, Oklahoma School for the Blind, and Lesley Walls Low Vision Clinic. She completed her internship at Eye Care Associates of South Tulsa.
Dr. Wilkerson has been practicing at AFEC Wagoner since 2020. She enjoys pediatrics, ocular disease, and is certified to perform anterior segment laser procedures. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, as well as an InfantSEE provider. Dr. Wilkerson lives in Tahlequah with her husband David and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, quilting, and baking.
