Not everyone realizes just how important an optometrist is when it comes to managing their health. Just as with general practice doctors, an optometrist should be a regular part of your health regimen. Seeing your eye doctor on an annual basis can help you detect the early signs of disease, avoid preventable conditions and ensure that you always have the correct lens prescription, if necessary.
